Welcome to my part of the internet, I will be trying to keep up-to date with my photography exploits via this site and aim to post a few pictures from each of my adventures in photography, the good and the bad. As they say you learn by your mistakes… (well I hope I do too)

For now, one from the distant past and probably one of the early set of pictures from 15+ years ago that started me to get into photography. Taken on an old Canon film based camera loaded with what was my first reel of Black and White film. Simple window light to soften the shadows.

After this I slowly got more into photography, but being young and skint (broke) all the time from going out, I never had the money to get more equipment or process too many films.  It was a slow process to go from taking the picture, waiting till the film was all used up, sending it off to be developed and then waiting to see if the picture came out as you imagined it would. Also hoping they didn’t process a black and white film in the colour process, it happened once, I wasn’t happy…

But then came along digital, And the real expense of photography, I started out small with little fixed lenses cameras but moved into the realm of Canon DSLR’s quite early….. Not a cheap route early on, but I liked it and haven’t looked back since… Once or twice I look at the bills for new Camera bodies and Lenses tho, but I still buy more………
